Facilities

At SmartLook™, first class facilities are used to ensure that quality is not compromised. Wet and dry manufacturing process is carried out in a certified third-party clean rooms environment and machines that are cut-edge Technology and functionality in this industry, such as the OptoForm 80A from USA for precise Insert Cutting and the Fedegari Autoclave from Italy for sterilization. Constant temperature and moisture system, we have achieved minimizing defects and quality deviations due to environmental changes by optimal management of the production environment.

Technology

With Spin Cast manufacturing, consistency is ensured and the lenses produced have excellent surface quality and edge shape which contributes to better comfort. Full automated process that eliminates any trace of direct human touch for good lens hygiene.

A- Doughnut Method

Shaped upper layer does not make optical zone be two folds, which prevent the thickness of center from being thick.

- Allow optical zone to maintain the perfect optical performance.

- Thinned center provides wearing comfort.

B- Cast Molding Method

VCBL method, which provides the best wearing and maintaining the original color for a long time by placing pigment between two layers of clear lenses, allows for the production of very thin color lenses and is safe because pigment placed between the lens materials to avoid touching the cornea

Safety

is guaranteed by using certified medical ingredients. As professional engineers of R&D technology are responsible for each process, the reliability of production technology has been increased.

Lens Design

SmartLook™’ philosophy for lens design is simple – comfortable lenses with good visual acuity. Hence our lenses incorporate the blended tricurve lens design for a smoother surface to maximise comfort. This design element also helps to promote good tear film exchange which is important for corneal health and provides lubrication that allows for lens movement with blinks.

The Aspheric optical design of our lenses also allows for better aberration correction, thus offering clear vision, even in low light conditions.

Material R & D

With a steadfast commitment to constant R&D, SmartLook™ is working towards developing new hydrogel materials to achieve higher water content and superior deposit resistance as we are always striving to provide better products for our customers. Plans have also been made for the development of Silicone Hydrogel lenses that will be able to deliver high oxygen permeability to the cornea.
